MAC’s Gallery @ Room 1927: “Writing Our Stories” Anthology Release Party

This event will celebrate writing by justice-involved youth and is an extension of a larger project that has provided creative writing classes as part of the regular school curriculum at Strickland Youth Center. In partnership with the Alabama Writers Forum and Alabama Department of Youth Services, Charlotte Pence and Kate Duthu worked with the youth to create the poems featured in this anthology.
